LG Optimus 2x

LG isn't the first brand you'd associate with really cracking hardware, but the Optimus 2X could be the phone to change all that. It is an NVIDIA Tegra 2 based phone, which means it combines a dual core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and a GPU on a single chip. This allows it to do awesome things such as 1080p video recording, which is not possible on the current crop of smartphones. The Optimus 2x also has a 4-inch display, 8GB built-in memory, 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, gyroscope and flash and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. We will be keeping a close eye on this one.
